I recently got this domain and am hoping to provide some truthful facts about making money on the internet.

We're constantly flooded with promise after promise, backed up by "facts", all in an effort to get some money out of us so we can learn how to make millions on the internet.

With the new year, I decided to spend some time (and money) and actually figure out if any of this is true or not.

So over the next few weeks and months, I'm going to be buying some eBooks, signing up for newsletters and testing out some of the claims, all in an effort to see if the average Joe can make some money.

I don't have anything to put up here yet, or at least nothing that's finished, so please check back in awhile and see what's new. I had thought about asking people to signup for a newsletter or something but changed my mind. At least for now.

In the meantime, I know everyone has concerns about things like email spam, ad ware, popups etc. Well here's a few products from trustworthy companies that you could buy or get for free to help with the problem. These products are directly from the real manufacturer, NOT a reseller!

	Mailblocks.com - If you're going to signup for any newsletters etc. you should have a free email account. If you use your own personal account, you take the risk of it filling up with Spam and Viruses. By using a free email program you don't have to worry about that.
	Zone Labs - If you get at least 1 protection product, this is the most important one, ESPECIALLY if you're on a high speed modem like cable. They offer a free version as well and I've used this product in the past. It's one of the very best.
	PC Security Shield - This looks like it's pretty good value. Provides lots of tools for a lower price than McAfee and Norton products.
	Aladdin Systems - These guys have a bunch of different useful software tools. You can get a lot of the basic versions as free downloads as well so be sure and check them out.
	Pay Pal - Going to buy or sell on eBay? This option will increase your sales. People are less likely to buy your items if you don't have this as a payment option. You can use this for a lot of your online selling and purchasing. It's almost a pre-requisite to doing ANY business on the internet.
	Ebay! - If you think you're going to do any buying and selling of products, you should signup for an eBay account. Honestly, even if you just "think" you might buy and/or sell something on eBay at some point, you should get an account now.
